Convicted Felon Guilty as Indicted for First Degree Murder

Vincent Hunt, 30, will spend life behind bars for the 2007 murder of Leon Walker, Jr., who was shot to death while riding in a moving vehicle. Hunt also faces an additional 25-40 years for kidnapping the driver of the car. The defendant previously spent time in prison for attempted murder.

A jury found Linda Abbot, 40, guilty of voluntary manslaughter for shooting her husband in the head while he was driving his pick-up truck in their backyard. The victim's vehicle crashed and caught fire, but his death was ruled a homicide after the medical examiner found a bullet in his head.
