Defendant Arsenio Rhodes, 26, entered his pleas Monday in Criminal Court where he was scheduled to be tried this week.
Investigators said the two victims, ages 15 and 17, were in the custody of the Tennessee Department of Children Services in Lexington when Rhodes picked them up in February of 2014 and brought them to a Memphis motel.
He then threatened and beat the girls and posted notices online advertising them for commercial sex acts.
In addition to his prison sentence, Rhodes will be placed on the Sex Offender Registry.
The case was handled by Asst. Dist. Atty. Jessica Shurson who is with the DA’s Special Victims Unit which prosecutes cases of child sexual abuse and severe physical abuse of child victims; rape and aggravated rape of adult victims, and abuse of elderly and vulnerable adults.
