Woman Indicted in Shooting Death of Uncle

Oct. 5, 2017 – A Binghampton-area woman was indicted Thursday on second-degree murder charges in the shooting death of her uncle earlier this year during an argument, said Shelby County Dist. Atty. Gen. Amy Weirich.
Defendant Mykita Worthy, 26, is being held on $250,000 bond.
Investigators said Worthy shot and killed her uncle, David Foxx Jr., 44, during an argument on April 27 at a residence in the 3000 block of Coleman Ave. near Tillman and Jackson. The victim was found in the front yard with a gunshot wound to the head.
