Man Indicted in South Memphis Homicide

June 7, 2019 – A South Memphis man was indicted Thursday on second-degree murder charges related to the shooting death of another man during an argument last year, said Shelby County Dist. Atty. Gen. Amy Weirich.
Defendant Marreco Adams, 25, is being held in the Shelby County Jail on $500,000 bond.
Investigators said the victim, Tremaine Farmer, 23, died of multiple gunshot wounds following an argument with Adams the evening of Aug. 17, 2018, outside a residence in the 500 block of Cambridge near South Lauderdale and East Trigg.
Adams was developed as a suspect and was arrested about six weeks later.
