Oct.11, 2019 – A man serving 31 years in prison for attempted first-degree murder was sentenced Thursday to an additional 12 years for his conviction last month of sexually assaulting a 7-year-old boy in 2014, said Shelby County Dist. Atty. Gen. Amy Weirich.
Man Indicted in Strangling Death of Friend
Oct. 10, 2019 – A 37-year-old man was indicted Thursday on second-degree murder charges related to the strangulation this summer of a friend during an argument at a North Memphis apartment, said Shelby County Dist. Atty. Gen. Amy Weirich.

Gang Member Sentenced to 52 Years for Murder and Attempted Murders
MEMPHIS - Aug. 26, 2014 - A Bartlett man has been sentenced to 52 years in prison for a 2011 shooting in southeast Memphis in which one teenager was killed while others ran for their lives, Shelby County Dist. Atty. Gen. Amy Weirich said Tuesday.
