Man Indicted in Roommate’s Death by Strangulation
Dec. 13, 2019 – A South Memphis man has been indicted on second-degree murder charges in the strangulation death of his elderly roommate earlier this year, said Shelby County Dist. Atty. Gen. Amy Weirich.

Preacher Convicted in 1983 Rape Case
Dec. 12, 2019 – A 68-year-old preacher has been convicted of aggravated rape involving a 12-year-old girl in a series of assaults that occurred in 1983, the oldest rape case prosecuted by this office, said Shelby County Dist. Atty. Gen. Amy Weirich.

Jury Convicts Man in 2000 Rape
