Cousins Indicted in Murder of Clerk in Frayser

Feb. 20, 2019 – Two Frayser cousins have been indicted on multiple felony charges stemming from their roles in the shooting death of a store clerk in 2016 on Overton Crossing, said Shelby County Dist. Atty. Gen. Amy Weirich.

MEMPHIS - Oct. 12, 2015 - The message of stewardship was the theme for the D.A.'s Quarterly luncheon on Monday. Shelby County Trustee David Lenoir delivered the message to dozens of area ministers at the luncheon held at Fellowship of Believers in Christ, 3485 Rhodes Avenue in Memphis. Pastor Joseph L. "Most people only associate the Trustee's office with the collection of property taxes," Shelby County Trustee David Lenoir said. "Our staff believes that our work is to be good stewards of the taxpayers' money. But it also represents and opportunity toour citizens understand the property tax process and to help them become knowledgeable about their properties."
Attendees learned about property tax relief for the elderly and disabled, the tax freeze program for seniors and the "Home Ownership Made Easier" (H.O.M.E.) program to help homeowners avoid foreclosure and tax sales.
