Sept. 22, 2017 – A jury Friday convicted a 32-year-old man of first-degree murder in the shooting death of another man in 2013 during a robbery in southeast Memphis, said Shelby County Dist. Atty. Gen. Amy Weirich.

Trio Convicted in Meth Conspiracy

July 19, 2017 – Two men and a woman have been convicted in a drug-trafficking conspiracy that was carried out while the men were serving time in separate prisons and using contraband jail phones to arrange the purchase and delivery of illegal drugs, Shelby County Dist. Atty. Gen. Amy Weirich said Wednesday.

A seven-month long investigation in the Whitehaven and South Memphis area has resulted in the criminal indictments of 25 people, including a postal worker, for the distribution and sale of heroin, Fentanyl, cocaine, marijuana and Oxycodone pills, Shelby County Dist.
