December 8th, 2011 - A Shelby County Jury in Criminal Court Division 1 convicted Pamela Taylor, age 39, of second degree murder for the fatal shooting of her husband, Michael Taylor, age 39.
Ms. Taylor was facing first degree murder charges in Shelby County for the shooting, which occurred on the morning of December 23rd, 2009.
Court testimony revealed that Ms. Taylor shot her husband twice with a .38 caliber revolver at their apartment in the Madison Humphreys Center near Interstate 40 and Walnut Grove Road.
Ms. Taylor faces 15-25 years with no parole at sentencing scheduled for January 19th, 2012 before Honorable Judge Paula Skahan.
Shelby County Assistant District Attorneys Missy Branham and Bo Summers prosecuted the case.
