Edmund Ford Jr. is under investigation by special prosecutor in ethics inquiry

Attorney General Robert Carter was appointed by the Tennessee District Attorneys General Conference, according to Shelby County District Attorney General Amy Weirich. The 17th district includes Bedford, Lincoln, Marshall and Moore counties.
Weirich recused herself from the investigation and requested a special prosecutor, according to a statement from her office.

CORDOVA, Tenn. (WREG) — The Cordova home of Chauncy Black, a young Memphian who at one point won the hearts of Memphians, was closed as a nuisance after an excessive number of calls to authorities. One of those calls was for a murder.
