Local Rapper's Case Headed to Grand Jury; Remains in Custody on $5 Million Bond

Shelby County, TN— The case involving Andre Scott — also known as local rapper Boo TwoGunz — is now bound over to the grand jury following a waived preliminary hearing.

Scott is accused in connection with a shooting last month at a Frayser gas station, where investigators recovered a Sprite bottle with his fingerprints at the scene. The preliminary hearing was scheduled for June 30 in General Sessions Court Division 11, but Scott’s defense attorney waived the hearing, allowing the case to move forward to the grand jury for possible indictment.

Scott remains in custody on a $5 million bond.
